How TORQ Car Rental Works
With TORQ car rental, we provide Burlington customers involved in a recent collision with a vehicle replacement while their insurance claims are being processed. Our goal is to eliminate the hassle of renting a vehicle after a collision or long-term repair. Here’s our process:
Business-to-Business rentals are assigned to each of our locations, including Burlington
Upon request, a representative will deliver the vehicle to the customer in Burlington
Deliveries, inspections, and handovers in Burlington are all done until the client’s claim is completed
Upon returning a vehicle, it is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and detailed before being sent to the next customer
The paperwork for each case is handled locally, and insurance providers issue direct payments
The file is considered closed once the payment has been received

In accordance with the nature of our service, TORQ Car Rental is usually offered for free, but in the rare case that the customer must pay, we have the following privileges:

- Rentals at a lower price than the market
- Vehicle selection (subject to caseworker’s approval)
- Plans for payment
Dedicated After-Hours Team Until 3 AM
The regular hours of TORQ Car Rentals Burlington are 9 am to 6 pm. Our after-hours team is available for dispatch until 3 am for our clients’ convenience.
We also provide insurance providers and body shops with a 24 hr dispatch line for rental deliveries.

TORQ Car Rentals FAQs
Why must I make a security deposit?
Every rental company holds a negligible amount in lieu of providing the vehicle, and TORQ Car Rental is no exception. Security deposits are held for seven business days and are automatically returned. As noted in the contract, the use of the 407, parking tickets, and/or speeding tickets is solely the customer’s responsibility.
If I rent a vehicle from one location, can I return it to another?
Yes! Our vehicles can be returned to any TORQ location that is convenient for you! As a company with four locations and more on the way, we want the rental process to be hassle-free from beginning to end.
Can I use the 407 ETR with the rental vehicle?
Yes. By calling 407 ETR, you can temporarily register your existing transponder to the rental vehicle’s license plate. The customer’s credit card will be billed for any charges incurred during the rental period if they don’t have a transponder.
Are pets allowed in the rentals?
Unfortunately, for the safety of all our customers, we do not permit pets in rental vehicles. We follow this procedure to avoid the spread of allergens that could cause health problems for those with allergies.
Is there a charge for adding additional drivers to the rental?
No! As long as the additional drivers are already covered under the active policy, it’s free. The rental vehicle can only be operated by the drivers listed on the renter’s insurance policy.
